Frequently asked questions

Not every video has extractable subtitles. This tool retrieves existing captions; it does not recognize text in the image or transcribe audio automatically.

Manual subtitles are supplied by creators. Automatic subtitles are generated by the platform and may include translations. They are labeled “Auto-generated”; recognition and translation tracks cannot be distinguished further.

Open the part or episode you need, then copy its link. Keep the p parameter for multi-part videos. This tool does not extract a whole series in one request.

Unread subtitle links expire after about 30 minutes. Select “Extract again” to refresh them. Subtitles already loaded on the current page remain available in all three formats.

Choose SRT for most players and editors, VTT for web video, or original JSON for tools that need Bilibili BCC data. BCC is different from YouTube JSON3.

This page supports videos and individual episodes on the Chinese Bilibili platform, including b23.tv links. Dynamic posts, opus links, bullet comments and international Bilibili are not supported.
